Triad – Flank pain, Mass, Painless haematuria

From Osmosis –

  • Arise from epithelium of PCT
  • Resistant to Chemoradiotherapy
  • Treated with Nephrectomy

Urothelial Cell CA

  • Presents with painless haematuria
  • Site can be Bladder, Ureters or Renal pelvis
  • Risk factors are Smoking and Industrial exposure to amines.
  • TURBT needed for staging and grading.

 

Bladder CA

  • High chance to recur –> Need surveillence
  • Muscle invading or not decides Mx
  • If invading Sx (Cystectomy) is needed or Chemoradiotherapy
  • After Sx Ileal conduit
